Bells & Birches

Ever since I painted the last bluebells, I've been looking forward to painting another. And what better than to combine them with my favourite trees! :)

I was keen to create a perspective that really captures a walk through the woods, but with plenty of light coming through onto the bluebells.

Materials: High-quality Old Holland oil pigments, Winsor & Newton oil colour medium and impasto, on a mounted, bleached cotton canvas, 1inch deep.
