Bluebell Wood
76 x 76cm Impasto Oil on Canvas
Sold
On recommendation, my husband and I took our dog walking around the woods between Elmden and Chrishall (Essex) in April. I was told the woods were filled with bluebells around this time but I didn't imagine it would be as beautiful as it really was.
In order for the bluebells to grow, the trees need to grow a fair distance apart, so what you get are these beautiful shafts of light that come through the sparse canopy, giving the bluebell-covered forest floor a magical quality. I hope you enjoy my interpretation of these sentiments :)
Size: 76 x 76cm (30 x 30inch)
Materials: High-quality Old Holland oil pigments, Winsor & Newton oil color medium, and a deep edge cotton canvas.
